  5. ICDN Telecom does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their marketing or commercial purposes.

International Transfers

As a provider with global infrastructure, your personal data may be transferred to, processed in, or stored in countries outside Singapore where our service providers or infrastructure partners operate, including the EU, US, Malaysia, Japan, and Brazil.

Where personal data is transferred outside Singapore, we ensure that the receiving party provides a standard of protection comparable to that under the Singapore PDPA. Safeguards include:

  1. Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or data transfer agreements for jurisdictions without equivalent protection.
  2. Adequacy decisions for regions recognised by the PDPC as providing adequate protection.
  3. Binding corporate rules or certification schemes, where applicable.

Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the stated purpose or as required by law, whichever is longer.

  1. Account & Contact Data: Duration of service relationship; deleted within 30 days of account termination.
  2. Transaction & Billing Records: 7 years, as required under Singapore financial record-keeping regulations.
  3. Marketing Preferences: Until consent is withdrawn or the relationship ends.
  4. Service & Technical Logs: Anonymised after 12 months; raw logs retained up to 3 years for security and ISO 27001 audit purposes.
  5. Cookies: 1 day to 2 years, depending on cookie type.
  6. Incident & Audit Records: Minimum 3 years, per our ISMS records retention policy.
  7. Job Applicant Data: Reasonable period following recruitment; securely deleted thereafter unless legally required.

Upon expiry, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised using methods consistent with our Information Deletion Policy.

Your Rights

  1. Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  2. Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  3. Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
